At his news conference Monday, Governor Jim Justice said 110 residents have died since his last briefing.
A COVID-19 outbreak was reported Monday at the Clarksburg Veterans Nursing Facility, eight residents in the facilityâs Alzheimerâs unit have tested positive and two staff members have tested positive.
The state Department of Health and Human Resources reported 10,561 active cases. There were 757 new cases added Monday, with hospitalizations remaining relatively high.
Calhoun has 25 cases.
A 73-year old female from Wirt County and a a 51-year old male from Ritchie County are among the latest deaths.
Hospitalizations were at 840 on Mondayâs dashboard report.
