Kanawha County deputies have identified the woman killed as Ashley Elizabeth Garrett, 28, in a crash on Interstate 79 near Elkview Saturday morning.

Garrett was killed when her vehicle crossed the median, rolled into oncoming traffic and was struck by a pickup truck, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened just before 5 a.m. near the 7-mile marker of Interstate 79.
