| POLICE SHOT CLARKSBURG MAN - On Tuesday officers from the Clarksburg City Police and the Harrison County Sheriffâs Office responded to a be on the lookout of a suspicious vehicle through Harrison County 911.
When officers found the vehicle, the driver failed to stop and let police on a chase. The driver eventually stopped his vehicle on Nutter Street in Clarksburg and ran into a home. The man came back outside with a firearm and did not obey verbal orders from police to put the weapon on the ground.
The officers shot the man, ending the threat to the officers. He was taken via helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital for medical attention.
Neither officer was injured and the incident is still under investigation.
