Kerby was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center
A driver clipped an electric pole south of Grantsville on State Route 16
yesterday afternoon, causing a disruption of electric service in the area for
several hours.
Hubert Kerby, 82, of Mount Zion was transported to Minnie Hamilton Health
Care Center with what appeared to be minor injuries, but he was then taken
to a Parkersburg hospital for further treatment.
Power, telephone and TV cable lines were in the highway, in addition to
part of a pole.
