| HUNTINGTON SHOOTING - Police have released more details on a shooting in Huntington on Thursday.
Dustin Heck, 28, was charged with malicious wounding after a officers said they found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest outside an apartment building in the 900 block of Monroe Avenue, according to a spokesperson for the Huntington Police Department.
Officers said Heck was yelling from a second story window of the apartment building when they arrived, so they immediately moved the victim around the corner to safety and administered first aid until EMS arrived.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was treated for âserious injuriesâ at a local hospital. |
