West Virginia health officials reported six deaths from COVID-19 and 56 new positive cases in Thursdayâs update.
Calhoun has four new cases since last Friday.
The death total for the pandemic is now at 2,897, according to the state Department of Health and Human Resources.
Active cases were down to 1,334, which is a decrease of 22 from the last update. The stateâs cumulative positive test percentage was at 5.01% and the daily positive percentage test rate increased from 1.33% Wednesday to 1.53% Thursday.
There were 76 people hospitalized with the virus in the latest update, with 19 in intensive care and nine on a ventilator. Recoveries were at 159,866.
