| FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING THROUGH
LATE THURSDAY NIGHT FOR CALHOUN AND REGION.
The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a
warning for Cabell, Calhoun,
Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson WV, Mason, Pleasants, Putnam, Ritchie,
Roane, Tyler, Wirt and Wood.
Several rounds of slow moving thunderstorms are expected across
the area through late Thursday night. Basin average rainfall
totals of 2 to 3 inches are expected, with localized higher
amounts possible where multiple storms hit the same area. Despite
recent dry conditions, localized flash flooding will be possible.
