Calhoun County Schools would like to thank Mr. Richard Kirby, Vice President of the Calhoun County Board of Education, for his three years of service on the Calhoun County Board of Education.
While he was on the Calhoun County Board of Education, the board overcame a deficit of 1.4 million dollars to a fund surplus.
Mr. Kirby was constantly focused on what was best for the students. Mr. Kirby's presence on the board will be missed.
County Schools Superintendent, Kelli Whytsell says, "We wish Mr. Kirby all the best in his endeavors."
