Melissa D. Cunningham, Community Resilience Coordinator, is announcing an exciting new pilot program that Save the Children is now offering in Calhoun County. The program is focused on the goal that "Children's and Families in WV are: Safe, Healthy and Resilient. Melissa will help families with children connect with resources that support Calhoun County.
The program supports families who may be experiencing: â¢Low income. â¢Kinship/foster care (with other qualifying criteria). â¢Unstable housing. â¢Critical health, mental health and/or substance abuse.
â¢Disabilities. â¢Behavior, disciplinary, failing in school, referrals from school. â¢Veterans (with other qualifying criteria).
â¢Negative effects of COVID (illness, isolation, job loss.
