Four coronavirus deaths and 205 new positive virus cases were reported by West Virginia health officials on Monday.
The numbers are the most recent from the state Department of Health and Human Resources since Fridayâs data update.
DHHR officials reported there were 2,799 active cases. The cumulative positive test rate went from 5.10% on Friday to 5.09% Monday, while the daily positive test rate increased from 1.95% to 2.46%.
As for hospitalizations, 132 patients with COVID were in the hospital, including 48 in intensive care and 18 on ventilators. Recoveries were at 157,492.
There have been 702,549 people become fully vaccinated in West Virginia.
