A new study from WalletHub ranks West Virginia 49th in terms of the state's economy.
Kentucky was dead last for jobs and 46th when it comes to state economies.
âIt used 35 different indicators of job market strength, opportunities, and a healthy economy. That ranges from everything from employment growth, annual income levels...just really the overall economic environment,â said Jill Gonzalez with WalletHub.
The study, released Wednesday, analyzed the last seven years of economics. It also looked at unemployment rates.
