The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported eight new COVID-19 deaths on Thursday morning and 385 new positive cases.
Calhoun had 10 new cases Thursday, with six other cases reported for the week.
The active case total is 7,180. The overall positive test rate decreased slightly from 5.15% to 5.14% while the daily positive test rate went from 3.69% to 3.65%.
As of data from Wednesday, there were 240 people hospitalized with the virus, including 83 in intensive care and 39 people on ventilators.
Overall, 610,171 have been fully vaccinated in the state. There have been 145,050 COVID-19 recoveries since the pandemic started.
