The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported three new COVID-19 deaths and 177 new positive cases Tuesday.
It appears that Calhoun has two new cases since Sunday, with two local residents reportedly suffering serious problems with the disease.
Active cases in the state were 6,965 as of Tuesday.
The overall positive test rate remained at 5.18% and the daily positive test rate decreased from 6.82% to 4.66%.
As of Monday, there were 224 people hospitalized with the coronavirus, including 73 in intensive care and 27 people on ventilators.
There have been 561,927 West Virginians become fully vaccinated and 142,059 have recovered from the virus since the pandemic began in 2020.
