Eleven new COVID-19-related deaths were reported Wednesday in West Virginia, bringing the stateâs death total during the pandemic to 2,800.
DHHR officials said 426 new virus cases were reported in the past 24 hours. Active cases rose by 23 with 7,293 current cases. Recoveries were at 139,795.
Meanwhile, hospitalizations declined by three and were at 249, with 79 in intensive care and 26 on a ventilator.
The stateâs cumulative positive percentage remained the same at 5.20%. The daily positive percentage declined from 4.18% in the previous report and was at 3.83%.
