West Virginia health officials reported five new COVID-19 deaths on Thursday and 433 new positive cases.
There appears to be at least two new cases in Calhoun since Sunday.
Total U.S. cases set to hit 30 million as infections rise in most states.
As of Thursday, there are 5,695 active cases in the state, an increase of 114 from the day prior.
The DHHR reported there were 219 residents in West Virginia hospitals with COVID-19, including 74 in intensive care and 21 on ventilators.
The overall positive test rate decreased from 5.28% to 5.27% on Thursday, while the daily positive test rate decreased from 4.01% to 3.88%.
As for COVID vaccines, 455,374 residents have received at least the first dose. There are 280,181 residents fully vaccinated.
Recoveries were at 130,932 on Wednesday, which was the latest update.
