TUESDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT - 285 NEW CASES - Calhoun Appears To Have Four New Cases This Week

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 285 new COVID-19 cases and 11 additional deaths in its report on Tuesday.

Calhoun appears to have four new cases this week.

The DHHR confirmed 238 new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths in its report on Monday.

The report from the DHHR stated that as of 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, there have been a total of 2,127,566 (+8,408) laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 130,139 (+285) total cases and 2,274 (+11) of those cases resulting in deaths.

According to the DHHR’s COVID-19 dashboard, there are currently 8,528 (-267) active cases and 119,337 (+541) recovered cases in the state.

According to the dashboard, as of Tuesday morning, 272,007 (+2,337) first doses of the vaccine have been administered, and 167,953 (+1,681) people have been fully vaccinated.
