Thirty-one more COVID-19 deaths were reported Thursday in West Virginia, raising the total to 1,702.
Calhoun County is now in red with high active cases, joining most of state.
The state reports 14 new Calhoun cases since Sunday, Sunday-to-Sunday last week saw an increase of 28 active Calhoun cases.
The state added 827 new positive cases Thursday, pushing the total number of positive cases in the state since the beginning of the pandemic to 105,219. The active total is 27,245.
There are currently 736 people in the hospital with the coronavirus, including 187 in intensive care and 97 people on ventilators.
At least 76,272 West Virginians have recovered from the coronavirus.
The state has administered 106,453 first doses. The number of doses the state has received was removed from the DHHRâs data dashboard.
There have been 20,004 people in the state fully vaccinated.
