| Enid Mathess Veon, 90, of Parkersburg WV, passed away December 22, 2020 at Camden Clark Hospital.
She was born April 4, 1930, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Darl Mathess and Leafy Mathess Phillips. She attended Edgelawn United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sheila (Lewis) Prather of Wirt County, Ramona (Michael) Chichester of Parkersburg; one brother, Clifford Mathess of Grafton, Ohio; two granddaughters, Ly nnette (Rob) Franciscus of Canal Winchester, OH, Angi Chichester of Parkersburg; six great grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Seth, and Naomi Franciscus, all of Canal Winchester, Shawn Brand of Parkersburg, Austin (Allyson) Brand of Vienna; two great-great granddaughters, Abigail and Cordelia Brand of Vienna.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Veon and brother, Clarence Mathess.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with Danny McVey officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. |
