| William "Bill" Mahoney age 68 of Glenville WV departed this life on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Genesis Health Care, Glenville Center following an extended illness.
He was born December 30, 1951 in Pittsburgh PA, son of the late William F. and Gladys Parry Mahoney.
Bill was a Disc Jockey on the radio for many years. He started his DJ career in Connellsville PA in the early 1970âs, then DJ on-air personality at WHAR/WVHF in Clarksburg WV in the late 70âs into the early 1990âs, known as "Mahoney in the Morning."
Surviving are step-children, Brieanna Rowe and Brian Dye, and step-grandson, Julian Oldaker.
Also surviving are cousins, Tom Seiverling (Luwanna), Janie Militello (Carmen), and Ernest Bristow and many other wonderful family and friends.
Burial will take place at the Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh PA at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2020.
