| M. Kay Looney, 76, of Bay Shore, N.Y., formerly of Parkersburg, W.Va. died Dec. 14, 2020, at North Shore Hospital, North Hempstead NY.
She was born Jan. 2, 1944, at Spencer WV, the daughter of the late Ronald Clark and Ival Randolph Looney.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ronna Williams on Oct. 28, 2020.
Survivors include her brother, Jared Looney of Parkersburg; brother-in-law, Paul Williams of Vienna WV; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; "adopted sister," Terry Conti of Bay Shore.
Kay was a retired medical technologist. She was a 1962 graduate of Parkersburg High School and West Virginia University. She had worked at Camden Clark, St. Josephâs, Marietta Memorial and Selby Hospitals and also at the Cleveland Clinic. Most recently she was employed by the Red Cross, Alexandria VA.
Her pastimes included talking with nieces and nephews and traveling.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20 at Clover Cemetery, Clover WV.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of local arrangements.
