Caroline Riddle Cusick of Glenville, West Virginia left this world to be with her Lord on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown WV. She accidentally fell at her home Thursday, December 3, 2020 and never recovered.
She was born August 1, 1933 in Gilmer County WV. She is survived by her sister, Maxine Riddle Smith of Glenville, her niece Paula Mazzagotte of Glenville, her niece and husband Susan and John Vrba of Locust Grove VA. She is also survived by her great nephew Anthony Frye of Glenville.
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, James Leo Riddle and Lucille Powell Riddle of Gilmer County and Elyria, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Francis âJackâ Cusick of Glenville.
Caroline attended Glenville State College earning an Associateâs degree in Business. She retired from H&R Block Tax Services, Glenville branch. She was active in Kanawha CEOS, and Tanner High School Reunion Association right up to her death. She was very active in Kanawha Drive Independent Baptist Church, of which she was the treasurer. All who knew Caroline, {CC/Skip} knew her as a wonderful Christian Woman, beloved by all, and she will be sorely missed by all especially her loving family.
Due to COVID restrictions, there will be no local funeral. Caroline will be laid to rest next to her husband in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, Ohio. A memorial service will be held in Glenville at a future date.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Tanner High School Scholarship Alumni Association at P.O. Box 12 Glenville, WV 26351.
