| Parkersburg, WV, December 8, 2020 â Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department reports four more deaths in the Wood County area are attributed to COVID. An additional death to a Ritchie County resident was also reported today.
Deaths in Wood county are now at 24 individuals. Ritchie now has five deaths and Pleasants have had four deaths each. There have been 3 deaths in Roane and one in Wirt as of today.
WVDHHR is several reporting additional cases in Calhoun above the MOVHD report, a year total of 92. Reports are indicating most of the cases are young adults and children, with few over 70.
Calhoun fortunately has had no deaths. MOVHD wishes all those associated with deaths have their sympathy.
