The Wood Festival Queen Pageant and
Coronation will be held May 31st at the Calhoun Middle High School Auditorium. There will be
ten lovely ladies participating in this year's competition and it is going to be a very
exciting event. These young ladies have already begun preparation and you won't want to miss
the competition and coronation.
Tuesday evening Pam Gainer, Beauty Control Consultant, met with the girls and their mothers
and did a "color analysis" on each contestant. Color Analysis is done so each person will be
aware of the colors that bring out the best in them! The girls and their mothers were
surprised to see the changes in their eyes and skin when the WRONG color swatch was used on
them. It's most important to know what colors are best for you so that you can choose your
wardrobe for competition in colors that are going to "bring out the best"!
The Wood Festival and Pageant committee would like to thank Pam Gainer for donating her time
to work with the girls in getting them ready for the big day.
