Calhoun EMS, the Arnoldsburg and Upper West Fork VFDs, were dispatched to the Rush Run area near Rt. 16/Orma about 6 a.m. Tuesday, where hunter was seriously injured.
The Arnoldsburg VFD dispatched a UTV to area to remove the injured man from a steep wooded hillside.
Reports said a 68 year old man, reportedly from Wood County, had a broken leg and other injuries after crashing a UTV, reportedly breaking a belt and rolling backward, pinning him.
He was flown by chopper to a medical center.
WVDNR officers were on scene investigating the accident. |
