Health officials in West Virginia reported 880 COVID-19 cases Sunday while the stateâs daily positive test rate came in at 5.26%.
New cases have been added in Calhoun, with 13 active cases reported Friday.
The new cases raise the state active total to 13,340, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. The overall positive test rate moved up to 3.48%.
There have been 40,478 total cases in the state since the pandemic began.
There are currently 433 residents hospitalized with the virus, including 133 in intensive care and 59 on ventilators.
Over 100 students, staff in quarantine in Monongalia County.
