| Children Protective Services and officers from the Calhoun Sheriffs Department responded to a residence at the intersection of Crooked Run and Nicut Road (Orma) before noon Wednesday, after a report that "children were locked up," yet to be confirmed.
Officers indicated they encountered a woman "who appeared to be ill," and Calhoun EMS responded to the scene, along with the WV State Police.
It appeared that a search warrant was being obtained to the residence.
Authorities were moving ahead with legal action regarding the situation.
Children Protective Services have custody of children associated with the incident.
