Health officials in West Virginia confirmed 215 COVID-19 cases Sunday along with another virus-related death.
The new death -- a 71-year-old woman from Kanawha County -- raises the stateâs death toll to 382, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.
Reports indicate a number of students in Roane-Jackson have been tested positive for COVID-19, while all the regional counties are green, the least color for contagion.
Calhoun had a new case Saturday, with about 11 active cases.
Reports given to Hur Herald indicate a student at the Little Kanawha Christian School at Brooksville has the virus, with the school being closed until October 19.
Spikes continue in Wirt, Roane, Clay, and Gilmer.
