In an effort to be transparent with the community and also respect the privacy of our students and employees, we want to inform you that Calhoun County Schools has been informed of a positive COVID test of a contracted service provider that was recently at Pleasant Hill Elementary.
This service provider was not with any student or staff for more than 15 minutes, and appropriate PPE was being worn. According to CDC guidelines, this does not constitute an exposure to any person at Pleasant Hill Elementary. However, everyone that was in contact for less than 15 minutes has been contacted. We are in touch with the MOVHD and will be following the health department's guidance. Extra cleaning of the affected area has taken place.
We are a close school family and will continue to provide whatever assistance we can safely provide to them during this time.  Thank you for your support of Calhoun County Schools, our students, and the school community.  Together we can get through these challenging times by continuing to support each other.
 Thanks,
Kelli Whytsell, Superintendent Calhoun County Schools  Â
