Mintie Jean Rogers, 90, of Spencer, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 4, 2020.
She was our âEarth Angel.â She was loved by so many and set a great example to everyone she met. She was a very strong Christian woman and kept her faith and trust in God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Gale Rogers; daughter, Lee Ann Rogers; son, Alva Lee âRedâ Rogers; grandson, Andrew Nelson; mom and dad, Carlie Conrad and Georgia Blake Conrad; brothers, Wayne, Henry, Ernest, Edmond, Paris and Roy Conrad; sister, Delia Cogar.
Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn (Bob) Nelson of Boonville, Ind., Marilyn Rogers of Spencer and Sue (Ray) Hawk also of Spencer; seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; her loyal companion, Sassy, who always stayed by her side.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8 at the Moorefork Cemetery, Big Otter, with the Rev. John Cummings officiating.
