CHARLESTON SHOOTING - Charleston police are looking for a vehicle believed to be involved in a shooting Friday morning on the West Side.
Around 10:20 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 400 block of Glenwood Avenue, according to a news release from the Charleston Police Department.
Officers said Ronald Sayles, 43, of Charleston arrived at a local hospital emergency room in a personal vehicle.
Police said the Sayles and two other individuals were standing on the sidewalk in the 400 block of Glenwood Avenue when a black sedan turned onto the road and slowed down. Occupants of the vehicle started shooting at Sayles and struck him in the foot.
Police say Sayles' condition is stable. |
