James P. Taylor, 73, formerly of Minnora, West Virginia, died March 12th in Findly, Ohio
following a long illness.
Born in Kanawha County, September 20th, 1929, a son of Mrs. Thelma Foreman Taylor of
Morgantown and the late Cecil M. Taylor. He was a member of the Minnora United Methodist
Church and was a US Army veteran and served in Alaska. He was a graduate of Clay County
High School and attended the University of Charleston.
Surviving are five daughters, Linda Duskey and her husband Gaylen of Grantsville, Pamela
Postalwait and her husband Allen of Elkview, Ruth Hale of Huntington, Mary
Ansley and her husband Brett of Zebulon, NC and Jane Taylor of Berea, Ohio; two brothers,
Bernard Taylor and his wife Kathryn of Morgantown, Joseph Taylor and his wife Penny of
Minnora; a sister-in-law, Janice Frame Taylor of Alaska; 10 grandchildren and 1 great
grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sons, James and Timothy Taylor; grandson, Joseph Clotier, II; brother, Robert Foreman Taylor of Fairbanks, Alaska and son-in-law Gary Hale.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 17 at 1 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home,
Arnoldsburg, WV. Rev. Tim Houchin will officiate. Interment will be in the Foreman Cemetery
on Oak Hill Ridge, Clay County. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the
service.
