FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR NORTHERN CALHOUN, WEST CENTRAL GILMER AND SOUTHERN
WIRT COUNTIES.
At 225 PM EDT, the threat for flash flooding continues. Although
earlier thunderstorms have ended, additional thunderstorms are
moving into the warned area from the west. This additional rainfall
may lead to more flash flood impacts.
FLASH FLOOD RADAR INDICATED;
EXPECTED RAINFALL...1-1.5 INCHES IN 1 HOUR.
WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH.
At 220 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast of
Arnoldsburg, or 13 miles south of Grantsville, moving east at 30 mph.
Locations impacted include
Gassaway, Arnoldsburg, Shock, Frametown, Orma, Wilsie, Rosedale and
Nicut.
