The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported three new COVID-19 deaths Wednesday morning.
The three new deaths brings the state's total since the pandemic started to 190.
The DHHR confirmed the deaths of a 61-year-old woman from Logan County, an 87-year-old woman from Ohio County and a 72-year-old woman from Mercer County.
The DHHR also reported 145 new positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the state's total to 9,540. Active cases increased Wednesday morning by 27, for a total of 1,749 cases.
The cumulative positive testing rate is at 2.33% with a daily positive testing rate of 2.35%.
In KY new cases include 114 children under the age of 18.
