Thursday, August 13th was the last Truck Day at the First Baptist Calhoun County Food Pantry until further notice. After discussing it among our volunteers, we have come to the conclusion that there is an abundance of food in Calhoun County. With people picking up food at other agencies and Mobile Pantries.
We have decided that we will just continue having regular give outs every Tuesday and Thursday and no Truck Days. The group will not be ordering large amounts of food, as we will only be doing regular
give-outs. Other counties need food, so our choice will make more food available for others.
Please continue to pick up food at other agencies and Mobile pantries in Grantsville. If you have questions or needs, please don't hesitate to reach out Donna Umstead (520-465-8657) whom will be available for emergencies as always. God bless.
