| David McCray 59, formerly of Brohard, WV, passed away August 5, 2020, at Eagle Pointe-Parkersburg where he had been a resident for several years. He was born in Parkersburg, the son of the late Russell and Luanna (Roberts) McCray. He was a 1980 graduate of Calhoun County High School. David enjoyed gardening and nature and was a devoted caregiver to both his parents until their deaths. He was a kind, helpful, and humble individual who chose to see good in those around him.
David is survived by a brother, Mark McCray, of Sistersville, WV, nephews David (DJ), who was his uncleâs namesake, Icel, Daniel, and Stephen McCray of Mineral Wells, WV, and several other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Joseph.
There will be no visitation. The family will honor David at a future graveside service at Hartley Cemetery, Wirt County. Those who wish may make a donation to a local food pantry in his memory. |
