VIVIAN STARKEY MANSON - Parkersburg

Vivian Starkey Manson, 78, of Parkersburg, West Virginia died March 10, 2003, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Grantsville, WV a daughter of the late Tillman and Pansy Trippett Starkey. She was a graduate of Calhoun County High School, Marietta Beauty College and Charleston Beauty Academy. She was a beautician and retired from the V.I.P. Hair Salon in Grantsville. She most recently enjoyed volunteering her time and services for the MOVRC at the Family Crisis Intervention Center where she was a foster grandparent. She attended Parkview United Methodist Church and was a member of Knott's Memorial United Methodist Church in Grantsville.

She is survived by one son, Nicholas Furr of Virginia; one grandson, Chris Furr and his wife, Kelly, of Little Hocking, Ohio; one great-grandson, Levi Furr; and one brother, William Starkey of Grantsville.

A memorial service was held Saturday, March 15 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green Street, Parkersburg, with Pastor Larry Crawford officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
