More than a dozen employees and some patients at Logan Regional Medical Center have tested positive for the coronavirus.
There is also an outbreak at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.
The Logan County Health Department said it was notified of 13 positive tests at the facility Friday, according to a news release.
A spokesperson with the medical center said a "small number of patients" have also tested positive for the virus. All of the positive tests are linked to a single unit at the facility.
The hospital said it is working with local and state health officials to follow guidelines and appropriate protocols.
Not all of the individuals are residents of Logan County, according to the health department. They are all currently quarantined.
Hospital officials urged residents not to postpone seeking health care if they need it.
The county currently has 79 active COVID-19 cases, including 12 people hospitalized due to the virus.
