| Delores Jean Hoff, 77, of Covington, Ga., formerly of Looneyville, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Riverside Healthcare, Covington, after an extended illness.
She was born July 25, 1943 at Clendenin, the daughter of the late Mac Guthrie and Nora Mae McCroskey Ledsome.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dewayne Hoff; daughter, Shawn Renee Hoff; grandson, Shane Hoff; sisters, Geraldine Gwinn and Phyllis Moore; brother, Noble Ledsome.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Lee Ann Hoff of Covington; grandsons, Seth and Ayden Hoff; sister, Carolyn Stricklin of Amma.
Jean was a homemaker and mother, who volunteered at Geary Elementary and Middle School, Left Hand and at Amma Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Amma.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev. Ora Holbert officiating. Burial will be in Clover Cemetery, Clover. The visitation will be one hour before the funeral.
