| West Virginiaâs positive coronavirus cases increased another 38 Tuesday afternoon, bringing the daily total to 57 more cases.
The state Department of Health and Human Resources said the state had a total of 5,199 cases as of 5 p.m.
Active cases were down 17 from Tuesday morningâs report and were listed at 1,552. There has been a total of 3,546 recoveries.
More than 240,000 have been tested for the virus with an overall positive test rate at 2.16%. The daily positive test rate was at 1.77%.
Hospitalizations remained at 77, with 33 in intensive care and 16 on a ventilator.
