PARKERSBURG SHOOTING - Parkersburg police have obtained a warrant for a man suspected in a shooting Friday afternoon that left another man hospitalized in intensive care.
Farrell T. White 47, of Toledo, is wanted in the shooting of Ronald Taylor III, who remained in intensive care late Friday night at WVU Medicine Camden Clark, according to Capt. Scott Elliott.
Taylor was shot in the chest and forearm but is expected to survive, Elliott said.
White, who police say is believed to have left the area, faces a charge of wanton endangerment with a firearm after the shooting that happened about 3:45 p.m. Friday at 656 Liberty St.
According to a criminal complaint on file in Wood County Magistrate Court, White entered the residence where Taylor was visiting acquaintances. Once he was in the room with Taylor, he allegedly used a chrome handgun to shoot him before fleeing the scene.
Witnesses administered first aid to Taylor before he was taken by ambulance to the hospital, the complaint said.
