The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 163 new cases of COVID-19 in the state in its reports on Saturday.
USA cases are raging out of control, with record daily numbers.
A total of 157 cases were announced on Friday.
The report from the DHHR stated that as of 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, there have been a total of 204,914 laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 4,146 total cases and 96 of those cases resulting in deaths, after the death of a 68-year-old Ohio County woman announced Saturday afternoon.
According to the DHHRâs website, there were 1,132 active cases and 2,756 recovered cases in the state on Saturday morning.
