After winning the Sectional basketball playoff on Friday night against Roane County Raiders (84/37), the team will travel to
Flatwoods tomorrow (Wednesday) for a game with Oak Hill.
A win will put the Calhoun Red Devils in the state tournament.
The game will be played at the Braxton County Armory.
A Fan Bus will be going to the boys
basketball regional championship game at the Braxton County Armory tomorrow
night. There is no cost to ride the bus. Anyone wishing to ride the bus to
the game should be at the school by 5:15 p.m. Each person will be
responsible for buying their ticket into the game. Game Ticket cost is $5.
The Athletic Boosters are planning a "Caravan" to the game, they are asking that anyone planning to drive to the game to meet at the high school at 5 p.m.
They would like to have as many cars as possible follow the
buses.
The Boosters will have car flags for sale for
$2 each. The flags are white with a Red Calhoun Red Devil.
They are also asking everyone to show their support for the Red Devils by
placing signs of support along the route the team will travel. The buses
will leave the school and travel north on Route 16 to Grantsville and then
take Route 5 east to Glenville, etc. |
