WEDNESDAY PM: WV HAS 74 NEW COVID-19 CASES

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 74 new cases of COVID-19 in the state.

The report from the DHHR stated that as of 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, there have been a total of 175,117 laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 2,979 total cases and 93 of those cases resulting in deaths.

According to the DHHR’s website, there are currently 564 active cases and 2,322 recovered cases in the state.
