| CHILD KILLS SELF - A two-year-old child is dead after deputies said he got an unsecured gun and shot himself.
The shooting happened on Deer Run Road, in Elkview, about 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies said the child got an unsecured pistol in a bedroom and shot himself in the head. The child died from his injuries.
Deputies said the child's mother and four-year-old sibling were also in the house.
Deputies said the investigation is ongoing and no conclusions are expected Tuesday evening. |
