| Emergency crews have evacuated some residents in Roane County after a gas leak Tuesday afternoon from a 99-year-old gas line.
Roane County 911 said the gas leak was reported about 12:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Speed Road.
Homes with addresses 100 to 850 on Speed Road were evacuated, according to firefighters at the scene.
The cause for the gas leak was unknown. |
