PM SATURDAY: 25 NEW COVID-19 CASES SATURDAY

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 25 new cases of COVID-19 in the state Saturday.

The report from the DHHR stated that as of 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, there have been a total of laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 2,274 total cases, and 88 of those cases resulting in deaths.

Officials also reported of 19 outbreaks at churches across the state with the latest outbreak at a Greenbrier County church with at least 17 positive cases.

According to the DHHR’s website, there are currently 603 active cases and 1,568 recovered cases in the state.
