Janet Clare Bailey, 84 of West Salem, OH passed peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Ohioâs Hospice LifeCare in Wooster after a 2 month illness.
Janet was born Aug. 24, 1935 in Uler, WV to the late Don and Dottie (Cooper) Brannon and married Basil Bailey on Sept. 12, 1952. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 2012 and they are together again.
Janet retired from West View Manor Care Center after 35 years of service and had made her home in Canaan prior to moving to Congress Village 31 years ago. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing and crocheting but her greatest joy was caring for her family.
She will be missed by her loving children, Jeff Bailey of Liberty KY, Ruby (David) Grau of Fredericktown OH and Loretta (Dave) Heath of West Salem OH; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren with another baby on the way; a brother, Paul (Iva) Brannon of Fountain Hills AZ and sisters, Jean Keen and Wand Deweese both of Looneyville WV.
She was preceded by her husband and sisters, Donnie Keen and Retta Miller.
There will be a family graveside service at Jarvis Cemetery at Chloe, WV. There will be no calling hours. Tributes may be shared at  www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
