West Virginia health officials confirmed 36 new COVID-19 cases Thursday.
The state's total number of cases is now 1,935, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. There are 629 known active cases in the state.
Huttonsville Correctional Center in Randolph continue to climb to 111 cases Thursday. Gov. Justice has now ordered testing in all correctional facilities.
Nine congregation members of a Hampshire County church have tested positive for COVID-19.
The Hampshire County Health Department said in a news release that all members have been notified of the outbreak.
The church was compliant in following guidance for re-opening services and has been cooperative through the investigation, according to officials. The church is closed to in-person services.
There have now been 1,884 confirmed cases in the state with an additional 51 probable cases.

At least 1,232 residents have recovered from the virus.
No new deaths were reported Thursday evening, keeping the death total at 74. |
