| The Upper West Fork VFD answered a call early Monday morning on Rt. 16 south of Chloe.
The fire was in a large vacant store building, a few decades ago known as the Big M Grocery, adjacent the Arlie Metheney residence.
Fireman described it as a "roaring fire," with all of UWFVD apparatus on scene for nearly four hours.
The WV fire marshal is investigating. |
