There is still an outbreak in the eastern panhandle.

State health officials confirmed another coronavirus-related death in West Virginia, increasing the state's total to 71, a 73-year-old woman from Jackson County.

At least 983 people have recovered from the virus, according to the state DHHR. There are currently 533 known active cases.
